Before using AI21’s API, you may want to see what it can do. For this, I did some experiments on AI21. I tried how the artificial intelligence model developed by AI21 works. First of all, I asked whether it understands Turkish, which is my mother tongue, and what it can do, and the answer was very good.
When I examine the interface in general, I can say that the appearance is quite similar to Chatgpt developed by Openai. But the outputs can tell us different things. First of all, I wanted to create a graph and asked if it could create a graph from the data I gave. Then I wrote prompt as follows.
Unfortunately, instead of creating a visual of the graph, it gave me Pyhton codes to create a graph:( Since I personally know Python, I can use these codes to create visuals, this is already quite easy, but for those who do not know the programming language, it would be difficult to do this, at this point I would like it to visually generate the graph and output it as output. The next test will be to see the translation quality. For this, I add the following text and ask it to translate it into Turkish.
When I look at the result, yes, I can see that it converts, but if you ask if it is very good, I think it is not very good. I can say that it is behind compared to Chatgpt, Gemini or Claude 3.5. Apart from these, I wanted to create images, but I saw that it could not output images yet.
I also said that I was going on a 4 day holiday to Rome and asked AL21 to make a list of places to see and a day by day plan. The output was satisfactory. I think AI21 is ideal for simple tasks for now, but I feel that it needs a little more development for extensive tasks.
